The Study of Sediment explores our connection to where we stand. While my past work was driven by fluid forces like wind and water, this series shifts toward the physical weight and grain of the land. It is an honest look at the ground beneath us, acting as a counterweight to the digital screens in front of us. Ultimately, these paintings are an invitation to slow down. They use raw earth materials to naturalize our focus and recenter the mind.
