The Study of Sediment is a biophilic investigation of where we stand. While my past work was driven by fluid forces like wind and water, this series shifts toward the weight and grain of the land itself. In opposition of digital saturation and over-stimulation, this collection is an honest look at the ground beneath us. Each painting is an invitation to focus on something real, to allow organic permanence to slow our thoughts, to naturalize our concentration and to recenter.
